Savelieva T.S. graduated from Dnipropetrovs’k State University in physics. Since 1976 she has worked in the Dnipropetrovs’k Mining Institute (now State "National Mining University") at the Department of underground mining of mineral deposits first as an engineer and later as a junior researcher and senior researcher.

From 1981 to 1985 she studied at the graduate school of the Dnipropetrovs’k Mining Institute, and in 1986 he defended his thesis on the specialty 05.15.02 "Underground mining".

Savelieva T.S. was the leader of the research contract work. Scientific developments Savelieva T.S. are a matter of solid mechanics based on studies of the stress-state of deformation of rocks.

Since 1993 he has worked Associate Professor at the Department of Engineering Graphics (now Department of Design Basics of Mechanisms and Machines).

She takes part in social and professional activities of the Department and the University.
