Engineering problems outside the classroom

Industrial research visit
29 April 2014

Dnipro Railway Switch Plant

Department experts visited the enterprise to discuss restoration of a specialised portal press used for straightening railway switch castings.

The visit resulted in an agreement to conduct a detailed technical assessment and prepare recommendations for returning the equipment to operation.

PROSKO Resources industrial visit
24 March 2014

PROSKO Resources

Department representatives visited a Ukrainian mining company specialising in kaolin and quartz sand deposits, processing and project development.

The meeting focused on scientific cooperation, implementation of research results in production and technical cooperation.
