Engineering problems outside the classroom
29 April 2014
Dnipro Railway Switch PlantDepartment experts visited the enterprise to discuss restoration of a specialised portal press used for straightening railway switch castings. The visit resulted in an agreement to conduct a detailed technical assessment and prepare recommendations for returning the equipment to operation.
24 March 2014
PROSKO ResourcesDepartment representatives visited a Ukrainian mining company specialising in kaolin and quartz sand deposits, processing and project development. The meeting focused on scientific cooperation, implementation of research results in production and technical cooperation. Company website →Mekhanobrchermet Research InstituteIn November 2014 representatives of the Department met with the management and researchers of the Mekhanobrchermet Research and Design Institute in Kryvyi Rih. The meeting explored opportunities for scientific and technical cooperation and future joint engineering activities. Opportunities for young researchers
