Abstract. During the development of the tail stabilizer, ecological and technological manufacturing aspects and usage conditions were taken into account. Alignment of the load in a vertical position is ensured for accurate landing. The tail stabilizer performs the function of orienting the cargo after release using aerodynamic resistance and stabilizing moment, allowing for vertical positioning during approach to the target and minimizing deviations in the horizontal plane. The surfaces of the stabilizer provide sufficient control forces and moments for effective cargo management and have minimal aerodynamic resistance.

LAYER-BY-LAYER SEPARATION OF CABLE WASTE ELASTOMERIC COATING USING LOW TEMPERATURES

Olena Fedoskina1

1Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Engineering and Generative Design, Dnipro University of Technology, Dnipro, Ukraine, e-mail: fedoskina.o.v@nmu.one

Abstract. The existing methods of cryogenic processing of cable waste are based on the use of hammer crushers or ball drum mills. In this case all cable components are turned into a fine-grained product, which makes their subsequent separation much more difficult. An innovative method of insulation coating removal using a vibratory jaw crusher with an inclined crushing chamber is considered. The technological line for layer-by-layer removal of elastomeric coating, consisting of modular crushing blocks, which does not require pre-cutting of the cable and does not mix the conductive core with the crushed polymer, is highlighted.

MAJOR ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH THE COAL INDUSTRY IN UKRAINE

Ihor Chobotko1

1Senior Lecturer, Department of Physical Education and Tactical and Special Training, e-mail: efilonov79@gmail.com

1Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs

Abstract. In Donetsk Oblast, there is a serious problem of environmental pollution from coal-related waste dumps. Out of 582 waste heaps, 132 are currently on fire. The Regional Directorate of Abandoned Mines alone has 175 dumps, of which 47 have been burning since 2006-2007. All of these dumps cover 5,000 hectares, which is 0.2% of the region's area, but they are responsible for approximately 4% of all emissions in the region. Burning waste heaps emit carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, sulphur dioxide, particulate matter and heavy metals into the atmosphere, exceeding the permissible limits by several times. Air pollution can lead to serious illnesses in the local population. Immediate measures, including the abandonment of coal mines and the reclamation of waste heaps, are needed to address this problem.

Abstract. In today's world, smartphones are becoming increasingly popular as gaming platforms, leading to a growing demand for mobile gaming accessories. However, the high performance required to run modern games can cause overheating of electronic systems, which negatively affects their operation and service life. The goal of this work is to improve the efficiency of a mobile gamepad by optimizing its cooling system. To achieve this goal, several tasks were performed. First, a detailed analysis of the shortcomings of modern gamepads was conducted, focusing on the problem of overheating of the back of smartphones and its impact on productivity. Next, different approaches to solving this problem are considered, with the conclusion that a forced cooling system is preferable. To implement this research, a model of the gamepad case and forced cooling system was created using Autodesk Fusion 360 software. The use of materials that have high strength and thermal conductivity, such as ABS plastic and GaNi, for the manufacture of the gamepad body and cooling system was also considered. The result of the modernization is a new design of the gamepad's back panel, which provides effective cooling of the back of the smartphone. This reduces the risk of overheating and maintains device performance, which leads to longer operating time and user comfort.

Keywords: Fusion 360, mobile gamepad, cooling system, thermoelectric materials, finite element method.
