InformationIn 2002, he defended his PhD thesis on the topic: "Features of strengthening low-carbon steels microalloyed with niobium and vanadium" (his PhD advisor was V. I. Bolshakov). In November 2007, D. V. Laukhin entered the PhD program at the Dnipropetrovsk State Agrarian and Economic Academy, which he completed in 2010. After completing his PhD, he continued to work as an associate professor at the Department of Materials Science and conducted research work in the laboratory of experimental research. In 2012, he successfully defended his DSc thesis on the topic: "Theoretical foundations of the formation of substructure, structure and properties of thick-rolled products from low-carbon microalloyed construction steels" (his DSc advisor was V. I. Bolshakov).
On September 26, 2012, he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences and in February 2013 he was elected Professor of the Department of Materials Science. In 1998, for winning the All-Ukrainian Competition of Young Scientists, he was awarded the Prize of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. In 2011, he became a Laureate of the K. F. Starodubov Prize "For a significant contribution to the field of materials science." |
